Cruise Control on the cheap

Make the $20 one work like the $30 one. See pix below. Put a loose screw and nut on the control as shown on the pix, attach the control to grip. The screw should be small enough so it will go almost to the end of the control. Then place a coin penny, dime, nickle whatever to get different gaps between the control and the grip (red arrow pointed) under one of the clamps and test that it allows you to move the control but contain enough tension to hold the grip, a dime worked for me. After you find the gap that works for you, push the loose screw toward the front of the bike as far as it will go and tighten it so it holds the gap when you pull the coin out. Happy motorcycling.
