Did my first oil change on my previously owned CTX DCT. Had heard about the notoriously tight filter and man they were not kidding. My regular tool would not budge it even with sandpaper around the filter or a jar opener. Those always worked on other filters. But I had heard good things about the Craftsman Universal Ratcheting filter tool, so I headed up to Sears and picked on up on sale. Worked great, but unbelievably I had to use a length of pipe on the socket wrench to break that sucker free! I have had lug nuts that were easier than that. Don't mess with other oil filter tools, this one does the job.

Now that you mention it, I should had said in another thread that I used a breaker bar with the Craftsman tool mentioned.
